Spring Summer 2010
Ok, so spring may not have literally sprung its way towards us at the onset of 2010, but that is where Pink Lining was at the ready to disperse the drizzle.
Maybe it's a woman thing but I find there is something very uplifting about banishing winter garb when the new year is upon us, although it is often not possible to don the new springtime clothes as the weather is hardly that welcoming… which is why I find Pink Lining bags so accommodating; parcels of portable sunshine cheer, conjured in an array of beautiful, exclusive prints that also serve a highly practical use. (Believe me, these bags are tested to the max —as a Mother of 3 children under 6— my criteria for changing bags is extremely high).
…And if you need any more justification for buying one, Pink lining has recently been awarded Silver in the Mother and Baby Awards for "Best Changing Bag" category; proving that the label is not just a pretty face, so to speak, but an industry acclaimed leader in our market too.
Every season I am very excited about the latest bag shape to feature in the new collection and this time there are two I just can't choose between… The "Flutter By Satchel" is equipped with all the usual changing bag paraphernalia and beautifully finished with an applique butterfly. As this is not overtly a changing bag it can also be used afterwards as a day bag.
For a lightweight changing bag the "Norland Tote" is highly practical and moreover the ice-cream sunday applique makes me smile…as well as a little hungry!
The bag that sees me through those days that necessitate the speed of Wonderwoman to change from Mummy in the park or taking her children to nursery to attending a sophisticated meeting, is the leather messenger. It practically accommodates all the baby necessities, as well as the usual pockets for mobile/blackberry, key fob and pen loop, all within a chic chocolate brown soft leather exterior. The contrasting cream stitching and embroidered bow provides the signature quirky attention to detail psynomenous with Pink Lining.
So Forget "Happy", here's to a "Fabulous 2010" even if sometimes that means providing the sunshine when it rains.
