Welcome to the pink lining website terms and conditions for use. these terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at www.pinklining.co.uk. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Using this website indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us or order from us. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this website.

You will be able to access most areas of this Website without registering your details with us. Certain areas of this Website are only open to you if you register.

We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this posting. You should check this Website from time to time to review the then current terms and conditions, because they are binding on you. Certain provisions of these terms and conditions may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms located on particular pages of this Website. If you do not wish to accept any new terms and conditions after we have given notice, you should not continue to use this Website.

Ordering from Us

Acceptance:

Orders shall be accepted at our sole discretion but will normally be accepted if the goods that you order are available and your credit card is authorized for the transaction. We will contact you if there are any problems with these issues.

As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered.

Prices quoted to you are the prices set at the time. If for any reason they are increased we will let you know by e-mail and inform you prior to processing your order.

Online ordering:

a) Shop by browsing through our website. Click on the collection to see the full range.
b) Click on the relevant image to access the individual item's product page where you will find the products exact measurements.
c) Add merchandise to your shopping bag by clicking on the 'add to bag' near the desired item.
d) Review the items in your shopping bag. You can remove, delete or update your shopping bag by clicking on either 'remove' 'delete' or 'update' to the right hand side of the page.
e) To continue shopping click on 'continue' on the bottom right hand side of the page. Please be aware that items in your shopping bag can still be purchased by another customer.
f) Proceed to checkout by clicking on 'checkout' at the bottom right of the page and follow the instructions.

Payment methods

You may order online using a credit / debit card (We accept American Express, Delta, Maestro, Master Card, Solo, Visa (not Electron), Visa Electron Debit). All prices are in pounds sterling (£) and credit / debit card transactions for orders outside the UK will be converted by the card company at their current exchange rates.

Registration

To register with www.pinklining.co.uk you must be over eighteen years of age.

Each registration is for a single user only. We do not permit you to share your user name and password with any other person nor with multiple users on a network.

Responsibility for the security of any passwords issued rests with you and if you know or suspect that someone else knows your password, you should contact us immediately.

We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these terms and conditions.

Delivery

Delivery Charge:

UK standard delivery charge - £4.95, orders over £100 will be delivered free of charge.

Express next day delivery charge - £7.50 (Excluding Chanel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands and Scilly Isles which are standard 2 day service)

Europe and Republic of Ireland standard delivery charge - £14.50

Rest of the World - £25.00 depending on country

As long as your order is received before Midday we will be able to deliver your goods the next working day.

N.B Orders placed on a Friday will be delivered the next working day, i.e. Monday and orders placed Saturday or Sunday will not be delivered until the following Tuesday.

Providing your items are in stock we will aim to deliver your order within 3-5 working days please note during our sale and peak periods you should allow up to 7-10 days unless you have paid for express next day delivery

Pink Lining consider Saturday, Sunday and all Bank Holidays as non working days.

Where possible we will endeavor to send all of your order together, however any items that are out of stock or on pre order will be sent as soon as possible, please note you will only be charged one delivery charge per order.

Tracking your Parcel:

If you have an email address registered with us you will receive an email to confirm that your items have been dispatched.

If you are concerned you have not received your parcel please contact us via email at info@pinklining.co.uk or call our Customer Services team on 0207 034 0035 (Weekdays 9:30am – 5:30pm, Weekends and Bank Holidays we are closed so please leave a detailed message).

Delivery arrangements

Your shopping basket displays the goods you have purchased with an indication of the delivery timescale. We will notify you if your goods cannot be dispatched within this timescale. The costs for delivery are shown depending on the shipping destination and the delivery service selected. Any delivery times quoted are estimates, based on availability and normal delivery time.

Failed delivery

We will deliver the goods to the address for delivery that you specified when you placed your order. Please be accurate when you give us your address details as we will not be liable if the address that you have given and that we will deliver to is incorrect.

Gift wrapping

Gift wrapping is standard. Your goods will be wrapped and tied with pink ribbon and tissue paper and sent in a pink lining box.

Fabric

All our main body fabrics are designed in-house and are exclusive to Pink Lining Limited.

Care instructions

Due to hand embroidery and appendages, most bags are dab clean only.

Ownership

You will own the goods once they have been delivered to the address specified and when we have received cleared payment for the goods in full. Until that time then we will retain title to the goods.

Cooling off period, cancellation and returns policy

We want you to be satisfied every time you shop with us. If for any reason you are unhappy with the goods purchased you may return the goods to Pink Lining within 14 days from receipt of the goods, you will receive a refund within 30 days of cancellation (please note if you are returning as a change of mind we will only refund the cost of the product/s and not the postage fee) It is your responsibility to take care of the goods before returning them, and they must be returned in a state where they can be resold. We will not accept return of any products, which might have been made to the customer's personal specifications.

When returning goods, please enclose a covering letter with the return detailing your name, full address, order number and reason for return (please also specify whether you require an exchange or refund). We recommend that you use Recorded Delivery, as proof of shipping is not proof of receipt.

Unless the goods are defective, damaged or not as specified on your order acknowledgement, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods to the merchant. If however the goods are faulty then the postage costs will be refunded.

If you are exchanging a product as a change of mind you will need to pay the postage fee of £4.95 for the new bag (we can only waver the postage fee if the bags is faulty and being exchanged)

Please note that we cannot refund or exchange any sales items unless damaged.

  • Acknowledge complaints within 5 working days
  • Advise you how long it will take to resolve the complaint
  • Keep you informed throughout the process

Statutory rights

Your UK statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.

Security

To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, Pink Lining uses Secure Scoot Layer (SSL) Technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send us over the Internet. If SSL is enabled then you will see a padlock at the bottom of your browser and you can click on this to find out more information about the SSL digital certificate registration.

We process all payments using Streamline. This system ensures that all sensitive information is stored on a heavily encrypted database and protected by multiple firewalls.

We will take all reasonable care to keep your order secure, but in the absence of our sole negligence we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorized access to any of your data, including credit card details that you have provided.

All data and personal information that we receive from you are held in accordance with our Data Protection Registration Notification.

We use the information provided by you to:

  • For statistical purposes to establish the popularity of product ranges to ensure ongoing availability of popular products.

  • To notify you of any product developments which may be of interest to you, but only if you have opted to receive such updates.

We do this for two reason firstly because we think that you the customer would benefit from such introductions and secondly because it allows us to grow our business by contacting their customers. These offers are often exclusive, and we believe you will find them of real interest. However we will never do this without your permission hence why we ask you to show your consent by opting in. You will be asked whether you would like to opt in at registration or you can email us at info@pinklining.co.uk.

Liability

If you have a valid claim in respect of any of the goods which is based on any defect in the quality or condition of the goods or their failure to meet specification in accordance with these terms, we shall be entitled to replace the goods (or the faulty part in question) free of charge or, at our sole discretion, refund to you the price of the goods (or a proportionate part of the price). We shall not be liable to you in connection with this agreement in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss of profit, anticipated savings or data (in each case whether direct or indirect) or any indirect loss.

Our aggregate liability to you in connection with this agreement shall not exceed the value of the goods ordered by you.

Notwithstanding anything else in these terms and conditions, we accept unlimited liability in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

You agree to indemnify us fully, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees and agents, harmless from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of any breach of the terms and conditions by you, or your use of this Website, or the use by any other person using your registration details.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, to which both parties submit.

We do not warrant that materials/items for sale on the Website are appropriate or available for use outside the United Kingdom. It is prohibited to access the Website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful. If you access this Website from locations outside the United Kingdom, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
